Need engine code Please help!
Hi! I have an 87 Iroc wich has a 1992 350 5.7L TPI engine. As you can see i have no way to know the vin for the 92 engine. I need to find out if anyone knows what was the engine code for this engine, was it E or F or 7 ?

The VIN code is an "8". You can find the VIN on the engine. There is a pad on the right hand side of the engine block located in front of the head. The VIN will be stamped there. You might have to clean it off to see it and move the heater control garbage.
