how hard is it to do??

Hey, I'm getting ready to order the dynomax catback system for my 86 iroc and was wondering how hard it would be to put on myself?? I know they say it's just a simple "bolt-on" but that's not always true. I was wondering if any if you guys have done it?? How hard is it to take off the old pipe, do I just hacksaw them off or what?? Thanks for the help.

Don't know what the set up is like on your car but I just put one on my kid's car and you can cut the old one out but you'll need a hoist in order to gain the angle you'll need to get the main pipe over the axles.
Check around, it cost me a case of beer at the local Car X to have them throw the pipe over the axle for me.

Piece of cake! Just have your cut-off wheel handy, pair of heavy gloves and safety glasses. Within a hour and a half you can be cruising.

Put a Dynomax on my Z/28 a coulpe years ago. took a couple hours. Unbolted from the cat without a problem. Had to hacksaw the pipe just forward of the axle to get the muffler out. Installing was easy. Took about ten minutes to get it in. TAKE YOUR TIME ALIGNING. I got in a hurry when I aligned everything and had to go back and redo it. The muffler sat at an angle and caused the passenger side tip to hang lower than the driverside by about 1/2".

Alright, sounds pretty easy, thanks guys. but one more thing, what do I have to look out for when I cut the pipe off, I know I don't want to cut too much, so where should I cut it?? Thanks again!
