late model valve covers/roller rocker ???

What is mods are needed on centre bolt valve covers to fit full roller rockers under them?
Remove drip rails? Remove support bars? Grinding? Thanks.

I ran across an article yesterday that said something to the effect that small blocks 1990 and up are ready for roller rocker/cam setups as is with little to no modification.

Please correct me if I'm wrong because I am looking to do the same upgrade.

Hey Acceld Z, just did that mod to my valvecovers about 2-months ago, I got the info from GMHTP and I also emailed Johnny H.

Basically all you have to do is use a grinder and remove that LIP on the support straps for the CENTERBOLT guides. The GMHTP mag with Johnny's 396 build up has a good picture of it. You can also email Johnny and get the info directly. HTH's

That's correct just the lips. Don't remove the supports or the "X" braces. I did the same thing for Comp Cams Pro Magnum rollers.
