Voltage drop and not starting

I was dring my car the today and my radio flipped on and off once and then i looked at my volt gauge and it was at zero. I had my lights on and if i tried to use the turn signal it would stick on and not blick. after i brought my car home it doesnt start. It just make a ticking sound and my alternator spins a little. Any idea what this could be?

most likely dead alternator. some cheaper aftermarket alternators will die imedialtly if you dont charge the battery up before running the car.

so i'd say you got a dead alt and/or battery.
