How does PCV work

I know what it does but how does it not suck in oil? Is there supposed to be a baffle in the valve cover to stop oil from entereing the PCV?

Yes, there is a baffle, sometimes filled with metal wool, to catch the oil. That's one of the problems with nearly all aftermarket valve covers.... they don't include PCV at all, or don't fit the stock parts so they're extremely difficult to find the right stuff for, or they don't include the baffles so oil goes everywhere, or they don't have the clean air supply in the other valve cover but instead use those stupid breathers that spew oil everywhere, or any number of other malfunctions.
