i'm considering getting one of the lt1 intake swap setups from lt1intake.com

however, most people i've talked to say they have had leaking problems. anyone care to elaborate on this?

There have been some people having problems with the water ports at the front and rear of the heads. The LT1 intake doesn't have as much material as the older intakes do in that area. I took mine to the machine shop and had some material welded in that area. I'd let you know how it worked, but its still at the machine shop. HTH's.

Bear in mind that for some of the people doing LT1 intake swaps, this is the first time they've done it. Not likely they're as vigilant about cleanliness, torque values and sequences, etc as they should be.

I'd take the leakage complaints w/ a grain of salt...
