ive got a 350 that takes throttle great sitting still, and for a while it took it good under a load. but now when i try to give gas when driving it starts to stall out or backfires through the carb. i know its over carburated and some of the plug wires are starting to burn up, is there anything else that would contriute to these problem? it also revs normal sitting still but it doesnt sound or feel like its breaking 2000 when im driving it

 

if you know the wires are bad, or it's over carbed that would be a great place to make a few repairs and go from there. i'd check timing too.
