one more question on overheating

I tried all the stuff you guys suggested on
the pervious post about my overheating 91 305. ie, baffles, shroud, timing. Not much improvment. The only other thing I notice is if I leave the Air cond off, it runs steady at 180 degrees. AS soon as I turn the Air cond on it gos up to 220 fairly quickly and if I am in traffic it will
hit 240.Does this mean anything, or do I just need to leave it off and sweat my *** off on hot days?
Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.....
