Insurance

I just got my first insurance bill from my first car. I was looking to see how I stacked up against other third-generations and first car insurance rates.

Do a search.

This has been covered numerous times, with lists of ~50 people from all areas of the country, and all age groups.

Unless you limit your poll to people in your own hometown, the info is virtually meaningless. Insurance rates vary so widely that comparisons around different parts of the country do nothing but make someone in Nebraska (who probably pays 300 a year) feel good, and the guy in Brooklyn (same car, same age, same driving record, and same coverage...paying 3500) feel like crap.
