How do you upgrade to bigger valves

Hi,
I am purchaseing a pair of wroldproduct SR heads and I am looking for a way to upgrade the 1.94 itakee valves to 2.02s?
That is what does the machinest do to install those valves. Do they cut new bigger holes in the intake for the 2.02s? Or just a standard valve job.
Thank you,
Shane

Engine: 350, Vortecs, 650DP
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 8.5", 3.42
Both.

They have to cut the diameter of the valve seat bigger, then give them a valve job.

Unless you're running a pretty healthy cam, there really isn't a need to use 2.02"/1.60" valves, so don't think you're going to see huge gains from the larger valves alone.

If you're buying the heads new, just get the S/R Torquers. They already come with 2.02"/1.60" valves and the up-front cost is cheaper than buying the S/Rs, then buying new valves, then having them cut.

If you're buying them used, talk to your machinist. Have him check to see if the seats are worn enough (need to be cut pretty large anyway) to justify the upgrade to bigger valves.

I don't have any experience with World heads, but the seats may need to be replaced if your going with larger valves which means even more $$$.

Ask your machinist.
