Is It A Possibility?

well my car is basically F'ed. So now im looking for a new car. I have found a 1989 305 TPI and everything seems to be there. There is some pretty nasty dents in a few places and it needs a paint job but it seemed to be in pretty good condition other then that. The asking price was 4995 and i told them i would offer 25 or 27 hundred at the most. My offer was actually accepted. The only problem is, i want to put my 350 into it but what are some of the things i need to be worrying about? The difference in the Cam and the computer are all i can think of. Is that a good price for that year? any help will be appreciated, thanks.

I know where you can find a straight '91 'Bird with a 305 TBI for that much. It seems a little steep for a wrinkled version.
