What do all the cam specs mean? For example, this is the specs for a Crane Cam:

lobe sep, 112 deg. , Avd Duration Int/exh, 260/272
Valve lift int/ exh .427/.454

It says that that cam is rated from 1000- 4500 rpm.
What does the lode separation really do? How about the Duration and Valve lift? What does @50" int/ exh mean? How exactly is a cam rated for an rpm range? What does the rpm range depend on? Thanks a bunch for any info,
Danny

Chevy High Performance had a great article in a recent edition. Here is most of the article:

Now I just need to get more info myself on how to do the swap. But this article has a lot of good info.
