I just picked up a 84TA and i noticed that the guy had the air injection hoses blocked off. I wanted to know where the air injection hoses connect to ?
AIR lines should connect from the divert/port control valve to the exhaust manifold. Is th eAIR pump still attached? Is the control valve still present? Do your manifolds/headers have AIR plumbing fittings?
Forgive my ignorance. I am not sure if the pump is installed, or what the valve looks like. I will check today.. i just bought the car and havent had time to really inspect it. The manifolds do have the AIR lines though.
