I have measured the resistance of my 3 year old MSD 8mm Heli-Core wires, low resistance conductor (part #3183) and found the following using my digital Multimeter:
Cyl # 1 - 2.68
# 2 - 2.36
# 3 - 2.22
# 4 - 1.71
# 5 - 1.93
# 6 - 2.5
# 7 - 2.09
# 8 - 2.56
Those numbers are in OHMS and the function was set to 20K on my Multimeter.
Does this mean that cyl#1 wire is 26800 ohms or 2680 ohms? I am not sure on this?
Also, if it is 26800 ohms doesn't that mean that the wire is bad?

Those readings look fine to me.
They're all in the range of 2000 ohms. 2.68k = 2680, etc.
99% of the time, plug wires (other than stock-style carbon-core ones) fail when the insulation wears out, not because of anything to do with their conductivity. Look for damaged insulation, not a change in their resistance.

When it's really dark out (no streetlamps), start the engine with the hood open; look for blue sparks jumping out of your wires. (Don't get your hair/clothing/jewelry caught in the fan belts, of course.) If your wires look like a lightening storm, they're shot. Try to keep oil and grease off the wires, that stuff can degrade the insulation over time.

yeah, checking the resistance of a wire dosnt do a whole lot of good. I've seen wires that had no resistance to some that had 30k ohms, it really all depends on the brand.
Like they said, a much better way to determine if you need new wires is just visually inspect them. Some people like to put water in a spray bottle and spray the wires down, if the engine stumbles or something then they know the wire is bad.
