Are these good parts?

I've been searching for my new rotating assembly. I'm going with all forged parts and planning 450-500HP NA. With a possibility of spraying a few years down the road.

I saw these cranks and rods and they sound like good pieces but I've never heard of CAT brand.

The only part about the rods I've heard that could be bad is that the Rods and Caps are separately forged. Is this something to be concerned about?

for pistons I'll prolly go with SRP or maybe JE

What do you guys think?

If you have a Borg Warner rear end it has 3.45 gears.

Thanks, I was about to update my sig anyway. I'll be sure to make that important change.

But you didn't mention what you thought about those parts.

so knowone knows anything about these parts or has an opinion on them or just want to correct my gear ratio on my rear end. I'm not going to hold anyone responsible if I buy these and they fail. Ultimately it is my decision. Just looking for opinions on, or expiriences with... this brand.

I purchased some CAT Roller tip rockers and I WAS NOT pleased!

In fact I removed them and put back on the stock ones.
They kept on loostening up and it was not that the studs were pulling out or the nut loosening.
Some one else had mentioned that they had problems with the CAT rockers, however, I had already purchased mine at that time so it was too late.

Did I say that I was not happy.

This is just my opinion, I would not buy any CAT products if these rockers were any example of their quality control.

I would stick with a establised name brand, those were the only parts that I did purchase that weren't from a well know/established company. They are made in china if I rememger correctly, In fact the set of rockers is out at the curb as we speak.

Just my $.02
