ticking through radio with miss?

i think this might be a big help to solving my missing problem. ive noticed it before but tonight im sure, whenever the car is missing it makes kind of a popping noise through the radio, sometimes its quite enough so that i dont even notice it, but sometimes (like tonight) its loud enough to hear. at idle you cant hear it, with any gas given it gets significantly louder. would this narrow down some of the possible problems?

thanks,

david

That's a sure sign of an ignition problem. You may have a bad wire, plug, cap/rotor, or coil flashing over. Your radio is "receiving" the energy broadcast by the high voltage arcing to somewhere it shouldn't.

Not saying this is your problem, but you might find this interesting

I agree with Vader, by the way.
