Better head ported and polished - 416's (l69's) or 8113's (AL vette heads)

Well, buying a 1984 Z28 as a small side project. (Compared to the big project LS1 88 convertible...) It runs great, going to throw a cheap maaco special paint job on it (just for driving around town) anyway... It has the 305 HO with the 416 heads. I just so happen to have a set of 88 Vette heads laying around ready to be ported and polished. Which set of heads would I see better performance from?

Ported and polished 416's?

or

Ported and Polished 8113's?

Putting on full hooker shorty header, carsound cat and flowmaster catback exhaust to compliment the heads.

Al though the 416's can be suprizingly improved with porting and larger valves, equal work done to the Corvette aluminum heads will be even better. It is a better head to start with.
Especially the exhaust port. Go with the Corvette heads.

Cool well that is what I was thinking. A lot of people were really saying how well the 416's port up, but corvette heads just seemed better out of the gun.

Got to like the weight savings of aluminum.

That's what I was thinking. Any HP guesstimates saying that I can get the vette heads hogged out like they need to be?
