Mike,
Umm, what about, oh, maybe LT4 springs?
They are designed specifically for use with the LT4 "hot" cam grind, so I guess you can't get any more compatible than that. The LT4 "hot" has just a bit higher lift numbers than the ZZ3/ZZ4 cam profile.
You'll need 16 pieces of GM P/N 12551483 for about $4.85 each, or save some cash and get the valve spring kit, P/N 12495494, which already contains 16 springs for about $35.93
You'll also need the appropriate caps (retainers), P/N 10212808, or order the 16 piece set for $15.54, P/N 12495492. To complete the parts list, get the matching keepers, 32 piece set for $6.83, P/N 12495503.
The springs are made of oval wire, and will require some head machining to accomodate their larger outer diameter (1.3415"OD x 0.901"ID, 2.150 Free height, 101 Lb@1.780" 0.217"x0.180" wire).
The retainers are lightweight steel, 14.45g each.
They are conservatively rated at 0.525" gross valve lift, and for less than $60.00 for the whole set of parts (other than screwed studs, if you don't already have them), you can't beat the price for a GM part.

What is the cheapest place to get a ZZ-4 cam?
Every catalog has them for around 269 bucks, but if you can get the whole spring set for 60 shouldn't the cam be cheaper as well?
Any one ever bought or used the ZZ-4 cam?

Mike,
You can also get a complete LT4 "Hot" cam kit from GM, with springs, retainers, etc.
