Hey guys,
My frat brother has a 98 Chevy pickup with a V6 in it. Anyway his ses light came on today and I'm wondering whether or not i can pull the codes for it the same way i pull them on my 89 IrocZ. Anyway any help would be appreciated.

No, you can't. 1998 is OBD-II, and lacks the ability to pull codes the "old fashioned way". A code reader that is OBD-II compliant is needed. Sorry bro.
