1992 camaro a/c problems

got a 92 rs. there is a burning smell when i use a'c. smells like burnt rubber. could this be the belt or compressor.
also the pulley that the a/c belt drives is squeeking. does it need to be replaced. please help and advise me what is wrong

i would try changing belts. see if that helps.
