adding sediment filter to fuel filteration?
HELLO ALL:
Have got a new carb to put on my 1983 Z28, 305HO CCqjet.
My car has been sitting for awhile and a friend who works on tractors suggested putting a sediment inline in addition to the
existing filter. Will this work???? or is this overkill and a waste of time????
thanks,
PAT

I got this from where I work, at Federal-Mogul.
It is a rebuild from Champion and is identical to the
one I have on the car. I bought this carb 3 years
ago, because my buddy that I bought the car from 7
years ago told me that the A/F mix-solenoid was
acting up and I got this carb for $100 more than the
A/F part. The A/F just went out a few months ago and
I'm just now getting to this.
The rebuild was done nicely with stainless steel
machine head screws replacing all the screws and
all rivots were drilled and tapped and machine head
screws used. The adjustment screws plugs were removed
also.
thanks for the input!!!
