need help with slight hesitation
alright i just switched to ac delco rapid fires (#2). my timeing was at 4 degrees with my old spark plugs(bosch platinum +4's) because i was getting some detonation when going up hills and steping on the gas. now my timeing is set to 8 degree's plus i cranked my adjustable vacume advance canister all the way to its initial setting. it ran fine for a bit but now i get a slight hesitation when i lightly step on the gas from a stopping position. also every now and then the rpm's will bounce down and up sounding like its gona stall for half a second. i use 92 octane and i get no detonation now with the new spark plugs AND the 8 degrees base timeing, but ive got this nasty hesistation problem now.... everything on the engine is brand new, it has no emmisions equipment what so ever(exept the pcv valve if that counts). i also tryed ajusting the idle mixture screws for like an hour and nothing helps. when i change the timeing do i have to change the rods/jets too?

alright i just took it for a spin around the block and it barely did it at all, but it did do it very slightly 2 times when i stopped at a few lights and went. once it gets going its great i can gun it and it never stops hauling, its just that hesitation at the begginging thats not only embarasing when people watch but annoying when i want to hear rpms climb, not bounce. should i mabey try a more richer or leaner air fuel mixture with the idle screws? what exactly would cause this?
