Intakes Highrise or not

Is there any difference performance wise to highrise vs a non highrise intake. What are the draw backs between the two? Would one make an engine run better than the other?

Transmission: Auto

A high rise will give you more upper rpm hp, but maye be harder to fit under the stock hood.
