IAC & TPS questions...

Ok, first the TPS question:

I read the TPS adjusting tutorial and it says:

With VOM and jumper wires: disconnect the connector from the TPS. Using your jumper wires, make a connection allowing some room for the VOM terminals to contact the jumper leads and read the TPS voltage.
Ok, but my TPS has 3 connectors... which ones should I use?

I did a test on an extra TPS I have just guessing and I got 10 volts at WOT and 12 when idling (?!?!?!?) That's not even close to the 4.0 volts I'm supposed to be getting. Did I do it in the wrong connector? Any help appreciated

EDIT: Ummm... I'll ask the IAC question later.

Black wire = ground
Dark Blue wire = signal (test this one)
Gray wire = 5 volt reference from ECM

Middle wire (blue) should be about .54 volts at idle.
