The plug in the first pic if i am correct is located on the passanger side which goes to the tempature fan switch sensor located near the back of the block somewhere near or in between spark plug wires 5 and 7. Not sure what the other one is though.

I don't think that is the fan switch connector. Mine looked totally different ('83 Z28).

First pic (single wire). EGR feedback diagnostic switch connector
The two wire might be for the MAT sensor located on the bottom side of the plenum, driver side.

Second pic....Oil pressure switch, maybe not too sure on that one.

Third pic looks like a thermal switch for controlling an after-market fan, or maybe a thermocouple for an after-market temp guage.

I think it is the oil press switch as well.
When I was doing my TPI conversion, I had to get a new brass fitting from a TPI car for the oil pressure gauge and the one I got had the oil pressure sender and the oil press switch. switch had 2 terminals on it and that connector looks like it is for that.

Oil Pressure Switch eh.. well that may explain why my oil pressure always reads over 90. I replaced my oil pressure sender and that didn't fix it.

Switch doesn't affect the oil pressure reading, sorry

But it will cause you to have long crank times to get the car started, 10+ seconds.

That's only used with the TPI and is for the fuel pump backup circuit if the fuel pump relay was to fail. Keeps you from getting stranded with a bad relay. Are you running the LT1 intake only or the entire LT1 engine and electronics?

Just the LT1 intake.

On the brass fitting that is coming up from the back of the block where the oil pressure sender is, there should be a "Y" block with the sender on one end and the switch on the other end.
Reach down in there and see if you can feel it.
It is about an inch in diameter and about 1.5 inches long with two prongs sticking out of it. It is a silver grey color.

Thats wierd, I don't see anything like that on my car. Whats even wierder, I don't see any mention of an oil pressure sender or switch for that matter in the Chilton or Haynes manuals.
