My cat is clogged?
I pulled the coil wire off of the distrib, and held it close to see if it would spark and it did - so my (new) coil is working fine. And again, I hear the fuel pump so I'm pretty sure fuel is ok.

I'm thinking it might be the cat for two reasons. If I let it sit for several hours, it'll start but only run for a second, 2 at most, then it wont start till I let it sit again. Second is I ran 1/2 tank of the leaded 112 octane at the track, and I kept smelling it LONG after it was gone. Don't know if that 108 octane booster **** is bad, but I also used about 20 cans of that over the course of 6 months.

Anyone have any clues or thoughts as to why my car won't start? Or what to try next?

P.S. NO codes are getting set either.

 

Blade, this sounds exactly like when my MAF relay fried. I was so damn sure it was something else because there were no codes. check by unplugging the MAF and then try starting up.
