Im new to cars and stuff and i really want to learn about them. Does anyone know any good sites that tell how engines work and what parts do what? Or books? thanks!

Check out some of the less-technical engine rebuilding books... they can teach you alot about how (and why) stuff works like it does.
By less-technical, i mean a book that is more about explaining why one part is better than another than about rattling off part numbers.

And getting an engine cheap and taking it apart helps alot too.
