Pilot bearing
Well I screwed up my pilot bearing I got from Summit. Now it is wedged in the crank. Dave had this small slide hammer thing with some small hooks on it. Well the pieces of crap Harbor Freight tools broke. 1 pull on the slide hammer and the figgen hooks broke. I am going to see if I can get some good stainless steel hooks made here at work. But if they cant or cant do it by tomorrow I need to get the bearing out this weekend. Does anyone have ant suggestions?

Pack the cavity behind it with grease. Put a clutch alignment tool in it, and hit it with a hammer. The grease will "hydraulic" the bushing right out of there. Keep adding more grease as it comes out.

My grandfather suggested that but I fear it is in too tight. Well if I cant get new hooks made I will try the grease thing.
