considering a 350 swap
well...i WANT to swap in a 350 and give it 450 hp. with new heads cam rockers lifters intake headers catback etc...but the question is....i have a 305 tbi in my 90rs. when i buy the stock replacement 350 from SDPC2000 ($1300)...will i have to transfer over my TBI unit making it a 350 TBI or would i go to the junkyard and get TPI parts. which would be more beneficial/helpful to my 450hp goal. thanks a lot guys.
also i need a new chip right, and fuel pump, and injectors???

The TPI would be more effecient but if you want to make 450 horsepower this will be harder with the stock runners and baseplate.
I would buy the top manifold the wiring harness from the salvage yard or used from a place that will check it out for you. There are probably some places in your area. There are four here in OKC. Get 24lb injectors when you by injectors. Get SLP headers if you can afford it I hear they are the best but not for sure. Ask around about the Cam and Headers. Also get a custom burned chip.

TPI 305,
Gutted airboxes,
gutted MAF,
K&N filters,
Corvette Servo.

a carburator would be most beneficial for your project. Making 450 fuel infected HP with a stock like design on the TPI will cost you a lot of money that you could use to attiain your 450HP goal.

You're going to have to go computer controlled carb if you want any prayer for pass emissions testing. If your car was built after they stopped making carbs, even prayer won't help.
