Radiator hose collapsing

The radiator hoses in my old bomb truck are collapsing.It's a straight suck six.I've seen this before but never on my own stuff whatta ya think?

it happens, the better replacement hoses have springs in them to keep this from happening. i'd replace it with one that had a spring in it.
