smoke from tailpipe?

My friend has the same year camaro as mine, same engine and trans. He has about 150k on his car, and it has started smoking from the tailpipe abit. I noticed and let him know, and he said he never saw before. I only see it when he gives it alot of gas or when he stops going forward and goes into reverse (manual car). The car doesnt have a cat on it, and has been run at 4,000 rpm constantly recently, we raced a 1989 GT on highway back from st. louis, going about 110-115 the whole way home. What do you think it is? Might it be a blown head gasket, or possibly a piston ring? It is a whiteish grey smoke, possibly alittle blue. We were just wondering if anyone could help us out. Thanks abunch,
Andy

and Hecter.
