What's to hear about it ? There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing that.

let me rephrase the qestion... is this a good block to start with giving the fact that i want to SC the engine with about 8-12 psi after build is done..or is it better to start from scratch and order specific parts

If you are looking into using a shortblock from a particular company I would call them up and explain to them that you are planning on running a blower. Find out what type of abuse the parts they are using will cost and find out if adding a super charger will void any warranty that the shortblock may have.
