Code 14, Please help!!!
I was leaving my friends shop today, when all of a sudden the CHECK ENGINE light came on.
It stayed on for about 30 seconds and shut off. No power loss, no overheating, all guages, temp, oil pressure, voltage all normal. I checked the ECM and it gave me a code 14. I read it was a coolent sensor. I know they have 2 sensors one for the FAN and the other for the GUAGE. Is there a third for the ECM, or am i missing something???
Also if there is another sensor where is it located and what is it called so that the parts store dosnt screw it up??? Any and all help appreciated.

Ok, went and got coolant temperature sensor today and it looks like the one in the front of the engine. My question is, do i have to take the Alternator out to get at the old sensor or does anybody know a trick to this???
