Ok I have a buddy that dropped an lt1 into his s-10 well he blew the tranny so he yanked the motor out and rebulit the motor. well he put an outragous cam in there so he gave me the stock one. Now upon inspecting the cam I noticed on the first 2 lobes it looks a little rough ... now could a good cam shop just poish it up and it be alright?? also i would be a decent cam in a vortec 350 TPI right??

 

If there is lobe surface damage (roller cam) you now have a door stop. It might also make a decent can crusher, but I wouldn't use it in an engine.
