Trouble code 34 on 88GTA 5.0TPI
I keep getting this trouble code even after changing the MAF sensor. All connections seem OK and the SES light will come on at times. I also have adjusted the minimum idle screw and the TPS according to the book.
I read on an article that this might be a faulty code. Any sugestions on this.

I had the same problem on my 88GTA w/305. I replaced both the Burn Off and Power relay for the MAF sensor, reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 1 minute. Never had the problem again. I picked up the relays for about $12 a piece I think. They're located on the firewall next to the master cylinder. There's actually 3 relays I believe, one of them is for the fuel pump.
Good Luck !

Thanks for the tip. Think I'll try that. I had just read something on the relays and wanted a second opinion.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
