What is a good vacum advance distributor to go with? I'm going to be dumping my q-jet for a 600cfm edelbrock (got it free). And what else do you think I may need, parts wise..?

well, if your on a budget check your local junkyard... got my HEI for around 25 bucks and it runs strong as hell; otherwise: whatever 300 dollar msd mallory super billet thing a ma jig you can get.

well for $25 it sounds like a good part to get from the yards, what would be the difference from an HEI and a vacum advance by looking at them?
