i have an 1987 transam with 5.7 ltr L98 350 bored 30 over ,tpi set up otherwise stock only thing removed was the smog pollution equipment and hollowed out the cat with new flowmaster exhaust.the car runs excellent but i was wondering are there anythings i can do myself to increase horespower with the factory equipment that is already on the car without messing something up and getting codes on the computer and without spending any money? maf, airfilter, plenium, timing, and so on. maybe someone knows some little tricks to gain horsepower.any help would be appreciated.

To really gain any kind of real HP it will take lots o $$. There are some free mods that can be done that will give you a few more HP. Check the tech articles and do a search for "Free Mods".
