timing/plug wires

Well, I got my headers finally done, with the exception of y-pipe.... I've gotta put that on tomorrow.

I went out to drive the car for a minute and see if everything felt normal.... It was loud, but didn't wanna rev at all...

My guess is that I accidentally put a spark plug wire on the wrong plug.

I have little to no experience with distributor cars. All of mine have almost all been DIS systems.....

Can someone help me? I don't want to have to retime the car because it was timed perfect before...

Any ideas how I can verify which plugs go on what cylinder?

Any pics???

That helps a ton.... however, proving that I'm an idiot, I'll ask the following question.......

Got a pic to show the firing order? Which cyl is which?

Its been so long since I've done anything with having to know cylinder number on a SBC...

I took a look at the car today and sure enough, the 6 & 8 cylinder firing order was reversed. I'm an idiot.
