Loose rocker on 98 K1500 ?

I have a ticking on my dads 1998 K1500 with the 350. It has 60K on it right now. I'm pretty sure its the problem. Is it the same procedure as on my 89 Formula? tighten till it stops then go 1/2 turn? I'm also wondering why it came loose.. Maybe pushrod bent for some reason?

replace the rocker nut, it might be an exhaust leak or injector making the noise. yes it should adjust the same as any other SBC.
