Code 34?
I got a code 34(i think thats what it was) a few weeks ago...that code means the MAF isn't getting enough voltage...so i replaced the power relay...scanned the computer...code is still there and my mechanic can't get the code off the computer....i'm gonna check the connections make sure they are clean...but if thats not it what does it mean? Is the MAF fried or is the ECM fried? The MAF is about a year old

Fly,
If the SES light is no longer on when the engine is running, the problem may be repaired. The ECM will store error codes for the last fifty engine run cycles, so if you want to clear the code immediately, you'll have to disconnect power to the ECM for about five minutes. You can either unplug the ECM, remove the ECM power fuse, or disconnect the battery to accomplish this.
If the light is still on when the engine is running, you still have an issue with the MAF sensor.
Waiting to hear...

ok vader i'll try that....should i disconnect the power or ground cable from the battery? The SES light would occasionally come on...while on the car wouldn't run that bad...it just wouldn't hold the rpms unless i was on the gas...we'll see what happens
