Engine: ls1, 4.0L

Transmission: t56, 4speed auto

under-rated hp?

does any one know for sure if any motors were under rated or over rated in horse power and torque? does anybody have dyno #'s for stock motor's compaired to advertized #'s? thanks

I don't have any specifics that come to mind but I have seen quite a few gm engines under rated in the past.

1991 Z28, 5.7 Liter TPI. Dynoed at 200 RWHP and 320 ft. lbs at 3000 RPM. Purely stock except for cut out air boxes below the air filters and KN filters. I still have the dyno sheet, but no scanner to scan or I would.
