How much will boosting the fuel pressure to 50 PSI affect my gas mileage????

On a 5.7 TPI motor with an adjustible fuel pressure regulator, how much will increasing the pressure from 42 PSI to 50 PSI affect gas mileage? How about from 42 PSI to around 46 PSI? Also, for those who have done this, is there a noticable increase in power? Thanks.

by increasing your fuel pressure you will atomize your fuel better, leading to better mpg. 50 psi may be too high for your application. i would go up gradually until you find the best psi.
