I don't really like the 'ram air' systems that people make for their cars, and i'm worried with my 91 Z that if i made one that since this area is a 'high flood' area that something like that would be too risky for my car.

So my goal is to somehow convert 2 standard cold air kits, whether they be 2 slp single units, any kind of cold air units (i may even look up some import information) Is there any way to adapt these to a speed density system, i really dont feel like relocating my battery but i think if i could get some piping that went in a different direction on one side than on the other to avoid the battery i could pull it off, is there anything i need to know before i start?, i was thinking of getting that 'splitter' that the impala SS cold air unit has and then running piping to a cold air box with a k&n on the end, i think that could work out but i know relatively nothing about the air system on these cars, is there a faq or some kind of in depth article on the speed density systems and its limitations.?

bttt, i dunno, is there anything from like a description of the entire system, to a schematic available for it? otherwise i'm gonna end up doing it all myself i can see it, i'd like to save some time ya know

 

bttt, isn't there ANYONE with ANY kind of information on the system, schematics, descriptions, etc :/, GMTECH? anyone???
