chugs at low speeds while driving
hope somone can help, I have an 89 L98 engine only mods have been a set of vette alluminum 58cc heads, a slightly larger cam, .500 lift and 114 degrees seperation, bottom end is totally stock, at low rpms 100-1500 it chugs and jumps, anything over 1500-2000 runs fine, and this only does it while driving, sits and idles just fine. any ideas? also I put a pete jackson gear drive in and the idler gear seems really loose, I lost the papers to see if the tolerances were right so if anyone has put one of these on I would apreciate a little help as well.
thanks
Jack

This may sound weird, but pull off your wires that are near the headers. You may have toasted one and not notice from a cursory inspection. The most likely one if it is this? The back pass. side wire, right at the boot/wire abuttment.
