You can go to any auto parts store and pick up a fuel pressure tester. Should have direction in it. ALl you do is hook it up to the scrader valve on the passenger side of the fuel rail. The direction will give you the proper procedure to do it. I'm not sure what the correct fuel pressure is..maybe someone else can help me out with that.

Oh yeah, forget to tell you. My car does the same thing yours does and it's beacue I have some bad valve seals and the blue smoke is simply the oil buring off during ignition..basic GM stuff.

....hey Scottie get a fuel pressure guage on your fuel rail and I think it will give you your answer. Prime your fuel rails by turning on the key and then record pressure. Turn the key off and watch closely to see if pressure drops off and if so at what rate and time. If your pressure drops too quickly too soon (like dropping 15-20lbs in 3-5 minutes) it will indicate leaky injectors. I think this might be your problem. If you need some more help PM me or just drive that damned notchback one province to the west and I will fix her myself. If it turns out to be the injectors you can have my old 22lb ones from my 89 GTA. Jay
