Vaccum hose help

Help! I can't find ANY retailer that sells the small plastic fuel/oil quality vaccum hose that runs to the heater diaphragm on the coolant hoses. This hose is the same size used in the egr vaccum controls also. Its so annoying, go to the GM dealer even and they say, sorry its just not available. I have tried NAPA and some industrial supply places even. I don't want to go to a junkyard to get this hose, because its likely it will be just as brittle and damaged as my old hoses that broke in a million pieces when I pulled the motor and tore it down. Anybody got a clue where I might get some of this plastic type vaccum hose? Thanks!

I don't know where you can get the plastic stuff.

Why don't you just run small rubber vac. tubing?? (besides the fact that the plastic stuff looks better )
