Wont Start after A/C been running...suggestions???

Ok i have a question for you all to ponder. When i run my A/C on a hot day and do a good amount of driving, then shut the car off for maybe 10-20 mins, the damn thing wont start back up again. It will start then just die and after that it wont start at all. Then if i wait for about 10-15 mins it will start back up. This only happens when the A/C is on and after i have used it most of the day. This has happend to me 4 times this summer and i was wondering if anyone knows what might be going on. Thanks.

I had the same problem....found out my battery was no longer holding a charge. I didnt suspect it cause my voltmeter was always above 12 volts via my 140 amp alternator. One day while driving on a hot day I turned on my ac. The car just shut off while I was driving. I pulled off the road. About a minute later the car would start right up, but shut off again after putting load on the electrical system. I had the battery checked and found out it was no longer holding a charge. Bought a NEW battery and the problem went away.
