Can't find ACDelco PF25 filters

I can't find and ACDelco PF25 filters. ACdelco has a "new" filter for our cars PF454 which is basically a short PF25. I bought a Bosch filter this time. Has anyone else had trouble finding the PF25? And does anyone know anything about the PF454?

thanks,
phil

They're dropping a bunch of the old familiar numbers from their lineup for some reason. The "real" filter, the PF35, is already gone. I wouldn't know about the 25 because I don't fool around with the little stuff like that. Instead of the 35, the one to get now is the 1218; I suggest you get that if will fit your car (the stock oil cooler/heater might be an issue if yours has one which it shouldn't), and forget the short filter.

I ran into this problem with my last oil change. I just went with the short filter...came out an hour later after changing it & driving, huge puddle of oil under the car..

Took my truck back to the parts store and picked up another one..next day..another huge leak. So..I tried another parts store and got the 25 and it never leaked again.
