Who would know for sure? What do you mean the center 2 bolts, I asking about a PLENUM, not an intake...forgive me if I misunderstood ya.
I am looking to buy a Plenum off an 85 TPI motor but I have an 87 and wonder if it will fit or am I just wasting my time and money?

Wish,
There were some changes. The earlier pleni had EGR and IAC air passage tubes and therefore the ports to the cold start injector. The later non-cold start TPI engines didn't need the cold start ports, but I'm fairly certain that change occurred in 1988 (1989 model-year), not 1986-87. The GM part number for an '87 is 14081006. Check the casting number on the '85 to see if it's the same.
