Fuel Line size?

I know this might sound dumb but...

What is the size of the fuel lines running from the tank to the engine? Is it 5/16"

Reason I ask is that I will be pulling my gas tank out Saturday to replace my fuel pump and I want to be prepared in the event that I crack a gas line... one of my gas lines (not sure if it's the supply, return, or purge) is pretty rusty and I may just cut it back anyway to where it's gets solid and run a hi-pressure rubber line and double clamp it... therefore I need to know what size of rubber line I will need...

TIA!!
